Allyson Felix
Allyson Michel Felix was born November 18, 1985. She was born in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed an early aptitude for sports when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the moment. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks following her first attempt. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to an official contract for Adidas. In 2004, she began her studies at her first year at the University of Southern California, where her major was elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by running 200m in 22.18 secs. Felix was also the youngest participant in the 200-meter race in the world championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She defended her title time and time again in 2007 defeating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium throughout her races in the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
